This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on Civix subscription services. We aim to ensure complete satisfaction with our Service and offer a fair refund policy for eligible circumstances.

2. Free Trial

All new municipal subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. During this period, you have full access to all features of your selected plan. No charges are made during the trial period. If you do not wish to continue, simply cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Cancellation can be done through your account settings or by contacting support
  • Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • No partial refunds are given for unused time within a billing period

4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Cancellation within 14 days of your first payment (money-back guarantee)
  • Significant service unavailability or technical issues preventing use
  • Accidental duplicate payments

5. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Cancellations after the 14-day money-back guarantee period
  • Accounts terminated due to Terms of Service violations
  • Change of mind after the guarantee period
  • Partial use of the subscription period

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  2. Provide your account email, subscription details, and reason for refund
  3. Our team will review your request within 3 business days
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days

7. Refund Processing

When a refund is approved:

  • You will receive email confirmation of the refund
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing time depends on your financial institution (typically 5-10 business days)

8. Annual Subscriptions

For annual subscriptions, the 14-day money-back guarantee applies from the date of payment. After this period, you may cancel but will not receive a prorated refund for remaining months. We recommend starting with a monthly plan if you wish to evaluate the Service before committing annually.

9. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution. Chargebacks incur fees and may result in account termination. We are committed to resolving disputes directly and fairly.

10. Exceptions

We reserve the right to grant refunds outside these guidelines on a case-by-case basis. Exceptional circumstances will be evaluated by our management team. Consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction may provide additional rights.
